Gi Gi Horrell

ETL Board Director

I’m Gi Gi Horrell and thrilled you’re here on the Encouragement That Lasts webpage. I’m a wife, mother of four, Mimi to four grandchildren and ministry partner with my husband Stan for over 40 years. Along with all that, I was a small business owner for 25 years. I’ve been a Christ follower for 48 years and I’m passionately grateful the Lord calls me by name. I love mentoring young business owners to adopt sound and Godly business practices, making their businesses beacons of light in communities. However, my greatest joy is encouraging followers of Christ and those seeking truth to simply open their Bibles and know the God of all creation intimately. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Darcee Strickler

ETL Board Director

I am a sinner, redeemed and reconciled to God through the perfect life, substitutionary death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. My name is Darcee Strickler. I am blessed to be a wife, biological and foster mom, and homemaker. My days are filled with homeschooling, hot coffee, enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery of Montana, and soaking up all the time I can with my family. It is such a privilege and joy to study God’s word and share the hope of the gospel with my children and friends. I pray that you find that hope and encouragement as you spend time here at Encouragement That Lasts. “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121: 1-2

June Strickler

ETL Board Director

I’m June Strickler and you likely picked up on my heartbeat in the “Meet the Founder” section. Through God’s grace, I have been married to my best friend, Brad, for over 40 years. I’m part “foodie” and enjoy serving others through hospitality. I became an unwilling expert in the field of of infertility even though I am now a mother of three adult children and “Grandma June” to their children. I’ve been a homemaker, worked in the legal field and county administration, am a writer, and know how to run power tools and get dirty. Most importantly, I love to point others to intimacy with God, who has loved “flawed me” with perfection all the days of my life. “But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ.” Philippians 3:7
